Yes Sir / Ma'am

Does saying yes sir and yes ma'am to your child at an early age along with the other normal polite teachings cause you child to have them ingrained for life or will it only be for the short term? Give me 20 years with my daughter and I will tell you if it worked for me.

Nothing to apologize for

Following the example of our president it's time for Conservatives to make apologies and then some, well “non- apologizes”. First we are sorry that we voted in moderate Republicans that went against the core principles of our party and spent billions on pork projects. For this we owe the American people an apologue. Next we are sorry that we have not developed strong conservatives candidates who have been ready for the spot light or have the strength needed to win. Now that is all for the apologues, now for the non-apologues.I am not sorry that I am a conservative. I am not sorry that I have worked hard to become prosperous. I am not sorry that I donate more to charity than many in the Democratic Party. Or that I want to keep more of what I make to do with as I please instead of giving you like atmosphere to crap out to be to the government to waste. I am not sorry that I demand a smaller more efficient government. I am not sorry that I served in my armed forces helping to keep America free and spread freedom around the world. I am not sorry that I want a country that is governed under a rule of laws that everyone is expected to follow. I am not sorry that I support standing up to dictators and tyrants. I am not sorry that I don't see race when I look at a person but the quality of their character. I am not sorry that I don't pander to people like so many in politics. I am not sorry that I think universal health care is deadlier than the current system. I think conservatives should get out and stand up for what they believe. The majority of America lives a conservative life, yet a good portion of them will vote Democrat. Because of that we now have a soft tyranny, which see veterans and people legally protesting against the government as the enemy. So instead of voting for somebody because you feel guilty, next time vote your values.

Conservatives rule.

Do conservative kids have more fun? On average those conservatives I talk to require better behavior from their kids. We have more rules, more chores, and restrict what they listen to watch and who they can hang out with. Yet when I see the end results of people who have raised conservative kids they tend to be at work earlier or work harder, goal oriented, and overall happy! I see those who let their kids do as they want, stay out late, and hang out with whoever they want end up in trouble. How many of the kids in juvenile are raised by Conservative parents and how many are raised by parents who let their kids do as they pleased?

For my children

Will my children? my hope for them to have a conservative life.

Here is a little essay that was going through my mind. Will my children; Will my children be honest and hard working? Will my children try to make their life better or will they be complacent? Will my children see people for who they are (good or bad) or will they unfortunately fall into the norm of bias? Will my children stand up for what is right, freedom, the weak and our constitution? Will my children stand tall and speak well? Will my children say I can instead of why do I have to?Will my children have the sense to stay away from bad habits, drugs and crime? Will my children earn the respect of their peers, supervisors, subordinates, friends and acquaintances? Will my children give more of themselves than they ask from others? Will my children be able to look in the mirror and answer these questions?I do daily.

Talk to your kids

Talk to your kids
Today I went to a Tea Party; I felt that I was at the right place at the right time. As an activist for my conservative views I have often wondered if the things I said and written about was a view all my own or that of a select few. I know now that there are a lot of people who feel like I do, that government has continued to grow out of proportion and become oppressive instead of helpful. We know the founding fathers with their foresight saw it possible that the government they helped construct could if allowed become oppressive. Have we come to that point? Not openly like waking up and finding the United States under dictatorship, but we ever so slowly have slid into a semi-socialist society. We gave to the government the power to take income tax from our pay, and became complacent with all the monies taken so that we think it a good deal to get some of our money back at tax time. Then we started Government agencies to help the needy and fight poverty, starting a history of punishing the wealthy to give to the poor. Regardless of the fact that even with trillions spent just as many continue to be poor. Now we top it off with the worst of all, the bypassing of the three parts to the government. We now have Czars that are in-charge of portions of government and answerable only to the President, with no oversight by the Congress and little in the way for the people to address grievances. Having seen the crowd this afternoon, people definitely feel that we may very well have taken the last hidden step to socialism! At the end of the meeting there was a question, what do we do next! Call and write your elected officials who are take your money and spend it on pork projects. Get actively involved by committing to spending one hour of a week doing an event, meetings, on-line forum or just talking to your kids about what is going on in America!
